Hope Kids Summer Camp
Hope Kids will host our second ever Hope Kids Camp at our church on July 22, 24, and 26 (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. The camp is open to all kids entering Kindergarten through 5th Grade in the 2024-25 school year.
Summer Internship
Hope Community Church is offering a summer internship program for individuals 16 and older (15 with a work permit). This program is designed to help build the church and gain a meaningful understanding of serving in ministry.
Senior Connect Game Day & Potluck
Are you a senior-not high school-who is looking for community with others in your stage of life? If so, join us for a morning of games & potluck lunch.
K-5th + Parents Open Gym Night
Join other Hope K-5th kids and their parents from 6-8 PM at church for a fun open gym time of various sports (floor hockey, volleyball games like Nuke 'Em/beach ball volleyball, pickleball, etc). There will also be crafts and other games available for kids and parents to enjoy together. This is not a drop off event, so parents, plan to stay, play, and hang out with your kid(s). Snacks and water will be provided.
PADS Homeless Shelter Needs
We have some needs for our PADS opening that we hope you can help fill!
Easter Sunday Welcome Team
We are looking for smiling faces to greet our guests on Easter. This is a great family serve opportunity and you can sign up to volunteer at one of the four Easter services. Contact Barb with questions!

Mental Health Seminar
Hear from mental health professionals on how to support kids and students struggling with mental health. We'll explore signs that indicate when additional help is needed and share tools to help parents support their children. We hope this seminar will help you as you navigate how to come alongside your kids and provide you with additional resources.
High School Pickleball Night
A night of pickleball exclusively for high school students. Our resident pickleball pro, Bryan Chung, will provide instruction for anyone who has never played. We will have 3 courts of pickleball for players of all levels of experience. Food and drinks will be provided following the games.
Anyone under the age of 18 will need to have a waiver signed by a legal guardian. We will email you a waiver after you register.
New to Hope Dinner
If you are new to Hope within the last few months, join us for an evening to hear about the history of the church, connect with the pastors, and to get to know others who are new to Hope. You are welcome to come by yourself or bring the whole family! Let us know you're coming by registering ahead of time.

Two opportunities in February!
1. Papercrafting Master Class on Saturday February 24, 6.30-8.30pm (RSVP Required)
2. Sunday February 25, 12.30-2.30pm. Join the knitters in making scarves/hats for PADS or bring your own project.
Both meetings will occur in the Volunteer Lounge at Hope
Senior Connect Board Games & Pot Luck Lunch
Join us for the next Senior Connect for board games & pot luck lunch. We'll meet on Thursday, February 22 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Volunteer Lounge at Hope. Bring along a game to play and even teach others to play. I'll make a pot of coffee & we'll end with a Potluck lunch. Bring a dish to share. Contact Barb with questions!

Grief Support- Hope for the Holidays
The Thanksgiving and Christmas season can be especially difficult for those who have lost someone. This 1-day (2 hour) event offers coping tools and support from a Christian perspective for anyone grieving the death of a loved one. Please click below to register.

Christmas Winter Coat Drive
For Christmas this year, we hope to provide gifts of new winter coats and cold-weather accessories for refugee families in need.
Advent Kit Assembly
Advent is just around the corner, and we are putting together kits for every household at Hope. We would love help in assembling these kits Saturday, November 11, 6:30-8:30p.m. at Hope.
Crafting Community Meetup
Join others who enjoy crafting in the Volunteer Lounge (the northwest corner on the first floor) to sew, knit, make cards, etc. Instructions will be provided but please bring supplies. Feel free to bring your lunch and enjoy eating with others before crafting.

Exodus World Service, our partner organization serving refugees, is expecting many refugee arrivals in September, and they need our help! Please consider contributing to a Welcome to America Pack that will provide essentials for a refugee family's new home. Summer Baptism
Sign up below if you would like to learn more about being baptized on Sunday, August 20. One of our staff will follow up. Baptisms will take place during church at the 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. service. If you have any questions, please email Pastor Gina. This will be the first baptisms in our church building!

Senior Concert Gathering - Wheeling
Join other Hope seniors this summer to gather at local free concerts. Just bring your chair, an appetizer to share, and your own drinks. Look for the green and blue balloons to mark our space. Contact Barb to get signed up on the Hope seniors distribution list.
