Alongside the local church
We partner with a ministry in Costa Rica that supports local churches as they serve people in their communities. Each year, a team from Hope travels to Costa Rica to serve alongside the church, build lasting relationships, learn from our ministry partners, and witness what God is doing in and through the local church.
Trip dates and details for the following year will be announced in church and shared in the eNews near the end of each year.
A Dream Center in Alajuelita
We partnered with a local church in Costa Rica on a Dream Center built to serve single mothers and their children living in extreme poverty. The centre provides job training and life-skills programs for mothers, and a safe, supportive learning environment for their children.
Our team worked on the building itself — digging and laying the foundation, tying rebar, plastering and painting. Tasks were assigned based on ability, and no special skills were needed.
