Meeting with a Stephen Minister
Fill out the request form and our Stephen Leaders will follow up with you to talk about what you're facing and match you with a Stephen Minister.
Men are matched with men and women are matched with women. From there, you meet about once a week for around an hour, for as long as it's helpful.
Everything you share stays confidential. What is said in a caring relationship stays between you, your Stephen Minister, and God.
Trained, caring, and ordinary
Stephen Ministers are members of our congregation, not professional counselors. They are gifted, called, and equipped to bring Christ's love into a hard season.
Each Stephen Minister completes more than 50 hours of training in listening, care, and Christian encouragement before they are ever matched with someone, and they continue meeting twice a month for supervision and further training while they serve.
If a need goes beyond what a caring relationship can offer, your Stephen Minister will help you find the right professional support.

If you'd like to know more about becoming a Stephen Minister, we'd love to talk with you about the training and what the role involves.
“Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”Galatians 6:2
